This website’s goal is to teach Catholics different skills while integrating stories and project inspirations from the Catholic faith. I hope to help other Catholics build skills to use in their communities, jobs, and homes. I also hope non-Catholics can use these projects to not only learn new skills, but get introduced to the faith in a different way. I hope to give Catholics a competitive advantage if they choose to learn in a non-traditional route. This could be used as a homeschooling resource, adult education, or job training.
To counter the onslaught of anti-Catholic values presented in modern schools across all subjects, we need to present an alternative that is rooted in the Catholic faith. The alternative must provide better and more useful skills that will help Catholics build and maintain their communities. It should be so useful that non-Catholics are drawn to learn here as well.
Eventually, I would like to have people utilize these projects in classes run by the local Church communities throughout the world. We must learn, grow, and work together as Catholics to build God’s Kingdom here on Earth.
Who Are We
Nick Snyder
I grew up going to Catholic elementary and high school. I decided to go the University of Notre Dame to study Mechanical Engineering as I placed a high importance on integrating my faith with my studies. I am grateful for attending these schools, but they are not immune to the secular influences. They are under constant attack and pressure to conform to global standards of what to teach, what is right and wrong, and what is important. I want to create a site that helps combat these influences and provides a counter attack to the current education system. Some of the most useful skills I have learned were not taught in these places and were self researched or picked up along my career. I hope to share these skills here and have Catholics in other fields share these here to create an incredible resource for the Catholic community.
